Engineer first, entrepreneur along the way.

I lead complex migrations rather than avoid them: at my last role I helped migrate a large B2C codebase from Vue 2 to Vue 3, rewriting 5,000+ unit tests and converting 20+ Options API mixins into Composition API composables along the way. Before that, at Involta, I cut a frontend Docker image from 2000MB to 200MB with a multi-stage build and migrated a 50+ component admin panel to Vue 3.

In parallel, I solo-build and operate two production products end to end. ivanovo.online is an AI-powered regional news aggregator: it clusters near-duplicate news with PostgreSQL pg_trgm fuzzy matching and synthesizes unified articles through a multi-provider LLM pipeline (OpenAI, Z.ai/GLM, Anthropic, Yandex GPT, GigaChat). mixlab.by is a commercial fullstack PWA + iOS app for the hookah community, with three OAuth providers and an OpenAI-assisted recipe builder, built and shipped solo for a paying client.

Before IT, I spent close to two decades in broadcast engineering — starting FM radio stations from scratch (licensing, infrastructure, commercial launch), then migrating a media holding's regional signal infrastructure across 700+ cities from analog/AES lines to Livewire (IP audio over Ethernet). Somewhere in the middle of that I co-founded and ran a PVC window manufacturing business with a business partner for six years, growing it from zero to a production facility with 8 staff before selling it in 2011 as market conditions shifted. I also carried a brief physics background from university before deciding to focus on the business full time.

That combination — long experience with always-on, regulated infrastructure, plus hands-on entrepreneurial ownership — is why I think about code as a product and about systems end to end, not just the UI layer. I moved into professional software development in 2020 through Yandex Practicum and have been shipping frontend ever since.
